Frequently Asked Questions

  • DOGS - All dogs need to be fully vaccinated with their standard annual vaccines (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza) plus the kennel cough (Bordetella) vaccine to be able to stay with us. The kennel cough vaccine lasts for 1 year and should be given at least 1 week before coming to stay in the kennels depending on the type given. Should a restart of the vaccination programme be required this is a 6–8 week process.

CATS - All cats need to be fully vaccinated with their standard annual vaccines (Infectious Feline Enteritis, Feline Viral Rhinitis, Feline Calicivirus).

As part of the terms of our license granted by Swansea Council, we are required to see vaccination cards every time your animal comes to stay with us, and before we confirm their initial boarding with us.

  • Absolutely. We ask all customers to come and look around the kennels or cattery before we confirm

    (Fridays 12.00pm – 2.00pm).

  • We would rather that you come to meet us, see what we offer and have the opportunity to ask any questions than pay a deposit. However, if you are unable to visit, either due to infirmity, closeness of booking, or your home location, then we do take a deposit of either a minimum 2 day stay or 25% of the total cost of the booking, whichever is the higher amount.

  • We do not take cats or dogs under 6 months for boarding; we do not believe that being separated from their owners at such a crucial developmental stage is suitable for animals that young. Please do chat with us about boarding younger animals as a trial stay is often a benefit if possible. There is no maximum age, we base this on overall health of your pet.
